21.0 Plot Catalog

The Plot Catalog is your library of reusable plot designs — buildings and features you place onto Region maps to build out towns, interiors, or any tile-based map. Define a plot once and place it on as many regions as you like. Game Masters and Domain Planners can create and edit plots; all players can view the catalog (secret plots excepted).

Creating a plot

Click the green "New Plot" button and fill in:

  • Name — for example Herbalist Building, Dining Room, or Tomato Patch.
  • Cost — a free-text build cost for your own reference (it doesn't tie into wealth).
  • Lots — how many map cells the plot occupies: 1 (a single cell), 2 (a large, two-cell footprint), or 4 (a huge, full-block footprint).
  • Description and Notes.
  • An image (up to 5MB; transparent backgrounds let the region ground show through — size it to the lots: 200x200 for 1, 400x200 for 2, 400x400 for 4).
  • Game Masters also get a Folder and a Secret? toggle (a secret plot is hidden from players even when placed on a visible region).

Click a plot card's "Inspect Plot" button to view its details. Game Masters can organize the catalog into folders with the blue "Manage Folders" button.

Deleting a plot removes it from every region using it. Because placed plots reference the catalog design, deleting a plot deletes all the cells built from it across your regions. This cannot be undone.
