Account Settings is where the handful of things that are true about you everywhere in Chronica live. Reach it from the green Edit Account Settings button on your dashboard, or from Account Settings in the menu under your avatar in the top bar.

The page has one Save button

This trips people up, so it is worth saying plainly: the whole page is a single form. Account details, password, and avatar are three sections of one thing, and Save Settings at the bottom saves all of them at once. You can change your username and upload a new avatar in one pass. Equally, if you navigate away before saving, you lose all of it, not just the section you were looking at.

Cancel returns you to your dashboard without saving.

What is on the page

• Account Details — your email, username, and time zone. See 2.2, 2.3, and 2.4.
• Change Password — leave both fields blank unless you are actually changing it. See 2.3.
• User Avatar — upload or remove your picture. See 2.2.

If something you entered isn't accepted, the page comes back with a red block at the top listing exactly what needs fixing. Your email, username, and time zone are still filled in as you left them — but for safety the password boxes come back empty, and a file you had chosen for your avatar needs picking again. Fix the problem, re-select those if you were changing them, and save.

The left-hand navigation

The column on the left is your map of everything account-level, in two groups:

• Account — Account Settings (this page), Billing Information, and Payment History.
• Subscriptions — All Campaigns, followed by one entry for each campaign you own, each with its tier badge.
