- Open Manage Ownerships from your Player Dashboard.
- Find the character in the list.
- Click Create an Ownership for this Character.
The character now has its own inventory, called Character Inventory, and its own wealth, which starts at zero. The list shows a View Inventory link and the character's wealth.
Nothing moves automatically. Items and money you already have stay in your Player Inventory and your own wealth. To give the new character its share, move the items and change the wealth yourself (see 8.3).
Controlled NPCs that are assigned to you appear in the same list, and you can create an ownership for them in the same way.
Rename your Player Inventory
The first row of the list is your Player row. Type a new name in the box and click Rename. We recommend your main character's name. The new name is used in the Select: row on your dashboard, in the lists where you choose which inventory pays or receives, in the item Transfer list, and in log messages.
