8.2 Deleting an Ownership
- Open Manage Ownerships.
- Click the red Delete Wealth & Inventory button beside the character.
- Read the warning, then click Confirm Delete Ownership.
Deleting an ownership cannot be undone. It deletes the character's inventory, every item and container in it, its wealth and its resources. Nothing is moved back to your Player Inventory. Before you delete it, move any items you want to keep. To keep the money, use Edit Wealth to take it from the character's wealth, then use Edit Wealth again to add it to your own wealth (see 8.3).
The character itself is not deleted. You can create a new ownership for it later, but it will start empty.
Unassigned Ownerships
Sometimes a character with an ownership stops being assigned to any player. For example, a Game Master clears the character's Player Owner. The ownership then stays with you, and appears in a red Unassigned Ownerships section at the bottom of the page.
You can still click View Inventory to see what is in it. The character also stays in the Select: row on your dashboard, so you can still use Edit Wealth to move its money. Move anything you want to keep, then delete it with Delete Wealth & Inventory. See 8.4 for what happens when a character changes owner.
